My name is Jacob and I am a duel enrollment student at GGC. I love sports like baseball, football, basketball, and hockey. I spend most of my time going out with friends and traveling. I love music, specifically country music because I come from a southern family. I love going to different places, I have been to places like Hawaii, the Bahamas, and the Grand Cayman Islands; but I also love places like Colorado and Chicago. I love spending time outside and exploring nature, as well as playing baseball in my free time. My favorite sport would have to be college football, my family and I have been passionate fans ever since I was little. I also plan to take another trip soon somewhere in the Caribbean Islands. My favorite island in the Caribbean is the Bahamas, although I want to learn more about Puerto Rico and their culture, such as their modern music.

    Puerto Rico is my favorite island - but then I lived there. However, I also love Jamaica.

The world around us is becoming more and more progressive, and in this time, we are seeing countries all over the world become more in touch with the pros and cons of legalizing marijuana. It has become a growing phenomenon around the Western world, and will soon be used all around the globe as other countries start to catch on. Legalizing marijuana is a tricky subject though, many countries are still very skeptical of the effects both economically and socially. Nevertheless, it is a very big step for any country, and will take some time to get used to the new crop being produced, sold, and used on a daily basis. For countries like Canada, marijuana is already completely legal, and is being produced at rapid speeds to strengthen the Canadian economy. On the other hand, The United States is definitely not at the stage where the entire country is on board with legalization, but the individual states that have legalized, have shown economic prosperity.
